What you will need..
1. A wooden box or an old tire to plant your garden in.
2. Liquid Fertilizer
3. A watering can/hose
4. Seedlings
5. Compost
6. Dirt/soil
7. Shovel
8. Hoe
Firstly prepare the soil by weeding it and putting fertilizer in it. Next you will need to put the soil in your base (tire/ wooden box).
Next plant your seeds. Space them out according to the instructions on the seed packet. You can plant seeds from spring time, depending on what vegetable it is. Potatoes you need to plant in Spring so they’ll be ready for Christmas. You plant most other vegetable at Spring time also. Brussels sprouts and broccoli would be best planted in Autumn.
Looking after your garden
To start looking after your garden you need to water your garden for 7 to 15 minutes a week, more than this in the heat of Summer and Autumn.
Compost
To make good compost for your garden you need a container (large ones) and things like food scraps, grass clippings but don't put citrus fruits like orange peels, or bones in this. Also you might want to put worms in the container so the food can decompose faster and don't forget take the worms out of the compost before you put it on your garden! Put scraps in every 1 or 2 weeks.
Weeding
Weed your garden every 2 weeks, but before you weed your garden learn the difference between seedlings and weeds!
